Top-running or underslung?

Both the R&M QL electric chain hoist crane and the QLP push crane come in top-running and underslung designs. A top-running crane rides on top of its runway beams. An underslung crane's end trucks run along the bottom flange of runway beams hung from the building structure, which keeps the floor clear and suits buildings with limited headroom or no room for columns. Not sure which fits your building? We'll look at your structure and recommend the right setup.
