SafeLift Load Sensor kit with a 2-inch remote display. Know what your crane is lifting, in real time, with Flexco overload protection and slack rope / chain detection for overhead cranes.


A single Flexco sensor bonds directly to the hoist or trolley structure and reads how the steel flexes as the crane lifts. The Flexco I-5000 indicator turns that reading into a live load value and trips its relays at the limits you set. The same sensor fits any crane capacity, type or model. There is no load pin to replace, no change to the reeving and no loss of headroom.


What's in the kit:

- Flexco FLEX-C strain gauge sensor (25 mm x 25 mm x 5 mm), bonded to the existing structure

- Flexco I-5000 load indicator with 2 built-in programmable relays

- Wireless, battery-free zero/tare button

- Super-bright 2" LED remote display for floor-level reading, indoor or outdoor, weatherproof enclosure, readable from 50+ ft (15+ m)


Overload protection and slack rope / chain detection:

- Overload cut-off: the relays block the hoist UP function when the load exceeds the capacity you set.

- Slack rope / chain detection: they block DOWN once the load is landed, so the hoist can't pay out loose rope or chain.

- Alarms and interlocks: the relays can also drive warning lights or buzzers.

- Fewer nuisance trips: an adjustable time delay compensates for load swing.


FLEX-C sensor:

- Rated capacity: same as your structure

- Total error: 0.5% to 3%, depending on the structure

- Operating temperature: -40 to +60 °C

- Stainless steel protective cover optional; cable length to suit your site


I-5000 indicator:

- Size: 160 x 99 x 106 mm (6.3" x 3.9" x 4.2")

- 7-digit LED display, 5 function keys, stainless steel enclosure

- Power: 9–12 VDC, 500 mA

- 2 programmable dry-contact relays, 240 V / 12 A max

- Working temperature: -25 to +70 °C (on outdoor or unheated cranes, mount it in heated space or an enclosure)


The same kit is also available with a larger 6.5" remote display.
